Alan Lawlor from Kingspan Group will be partaking this year in the Irish Hospice Foundation cycle challenge, which involves a 5 day cycle from Dublin to Paris in July this year, a 600 km trip (excluding the ferry!)
The Irish Hospice Foundation is an excellent charity which cares for those who are facing death and their loved ones. Kingspan are very generously sponsoring the overall event. Personally I am hoping to raise at least €3,500 for the charity, but realistically I’ll be disappointed if I don’t raise over €5,000 on my own. I’ve also roped my brother and a good friend onto it too.
Kingspan would very much appreciate your support in his endeavour. Alan believes this is going to be a significant challenge as he has not been on a bike in 12 years, nor owned one in nearly 20, so I’ve already invested in several pairs of padded shorts!
