UNIQUE FLOORING SOLUTION
In the refurbishment of the Belvedere, Basingstoke, our Special Works division
delivered a bespoke access floor solution developed for the unique floor
slab of this twenty-year office building.
A TOWERING ACHIEVEMENT
Canary Wharf's two new 210 metre high towers were topped out in March 2001, the
ceremony marking an important milestone in this landmark development for
the Canary Wharf Group.
FLEXIBLE FRIENDS
Although the spotlight often falls on our contracts in London and the south, the
north of England has also been keeping the contracting teams busy.
FINANCIAL CENTRE
Merrill Lynch's new Financial Centre has added 77,000 sq m of highly specified
corporate space in the City of London. Kingspan Access Floors supplied
and fitted 48,000 square metres of raised access floors throughout the
complex.
SLIM GYM
'The Third Space' is a mould-breaking gym and health centre on four floors
of a 1930s building, but its design reflects twenty-first century preoccupations.
This very electronically-oriented environment has rowing machines, treadmills,
cardiovascular equipment, and sound systems all needing power and data
services.
POINTS NORTH
Our installation teams are on site again at Long Benton in Newcastle-upon-Tyne,
working on Phase II of the PFI project to provide campus park accommodation
for the Department of Social Security and the Inland Revenue.
ROCKET SCIENCE

VICTORIA AND ALBERT MUSEUM
The refurbished British Galleries at the V&A demonstrate the increasing
use of technology in modern exhibition space of and the use of raised
floors to deliver it, for purposes of conservation, superior display and
for greater visitor interaction.
